I pine for the Fifties -- the Twelve-Fifties.

I wonder though how many of Gen Z really want a pre internet, offline world. My guess is it is a small minority.

I am an old guy and from what I have seen every gen thinks it is the best and any older generation ruined the world. Well at least ruined their world. A lot of people, for example, want to be fit and marvel at old pics when people were more fit. Few of them go to the gym and are fit and slim.

It is hard to talk with people when you are out and about and, say sitting in a cafe. People now are more comfortable on their phones. Few young people leave their phones behind and take a book to a coffee shop. Few even read books. For that matter old people who condemn young people for being online all the time are themselves online all the time and will spend hours watching YouTube videos but recoil from reading a lengthy article that is the length of old magazine article.
