Charlottesville Flashback
I have spoken of the remarkable parallels between how pro-Palestinian demonstrators are being treated by the authorities today and the way in which the now mostly forgotten Charlottesville “Unite the Right” event was broken up by the Virginia State Police, with utter disregard for the First Amendment, back in August of 2017.
Of course, most anti-Zionist leftists would blanch at the notion of such a comparison being made to the same “alt-right” that they (along with the rest of the credulous public) have been trained, by certain monied interest groups, to view as the Enemy of Enemies, but the similarities are nevertheless striking, and ominous.
Here is an interview from seven years ago in which I recount my (then fresh) memories of being in attendance at the Charlottesville event, and watching it all go down.
And here’s another link to the same interview in case the first one doesn’t work for some strange reason…
